Monday Brief: a desk you can actually use
Sample post. The events, tools, and steps in this piece are illustrations of the format. They are not news.
This is a sample post. It shows the Monday Brief shape: a short list, a reason each item matters, and no pretend scoop. None of the items below happened.
Example items
- Paper Lantern renamed a shot folder. Example. A studio that does not exist stopped calling the master file
final_v2_USE_THIS. The brief, when it is real, will link the primary source and say why a working animator should care. - A free importer grew a version pin. Example. The point of the item is the Blender version, not the launch adjective.
- Someone shipped a generator with a new monthly price. Example. Price changes belong in the directory, with the old number still visible. This brief would link the tool page instead of reprinting the invoice.
How a real brief will work
Five to eight items. Each one gets a link to a primary source and one line on why it matters in a pipeline. Trade outlets get credited, not rewritten. If a fact is not checked, it does not ship.
The industry category is empty on purpose in this save. A Monday Brief is allowed to be short. It is not allowed to invent a studio.
